Leadership Training
These prices focus on one dog
The Start:
We start out with 4 weeks of leadership training to put into practice, re-gaining your own home again. All dogs are looking for a leader to put their trust in. If there is not a leader that the dog can respect they have no choice but to take control themselves. There are a host of systems and procedures we can introduce to nudge them towards a healthy leadership relationship.
The Relationship:
Once the first 4 weeks of training are put into consistent practice the next month is working on consistency and building trust, and a relationship of respect from your dog. A Leader = Trust + Respect (gaining a vote from your dog)
The Payoff:
After 2 months of consistent leadership training the 3rd month is a 4 week process of building back a comfortable home with foundational rules that everyone needs to be okay with and follow.
The Big Picture:
The goal of leadership training is to help your dog vote you as the leader in your home and his world. This builds good communication, trust, and respect. Once you have all three you will have a dog looking to you first before jumping to their own conclusions.
In the Home Training
The home is where your dog is the most safe and comfortable. It is also where most of the natural animal behaviors become prominent. In home training, the trainer comes to the comfort of your home once a week to coach you on how to train your dog. Each lesson comes with homework for you to keep working and bonding with your dog through the week. Coaching you on how to train your dog helps you in the future as well as develops a foundation of communication, which you can use to further work with your companion.
